“This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” (Hebrews 8:10-12)
Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.
Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him;
And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon. (Isaiah 55:6-7)
I don’t always understand, but I am so grateful. I don’t always want to, but I do it anyway—because of His great love, because of His mercy on me. My heart may be broken inside of my chest, but I will look to Him and Him alone to heal it. I trust that He will, in His time.
I will praise You, Lord, even through the tears. I will hold onto You tighter. You have never disappointed me; Your plans always far exceed my own. There is none like You. None like my Jesus.
He will heal, trust
