ABOUT.

Have you ever sought validation from those around you? Have you ever looked to your family, friends, spouse, boyfriend or girlfriend to find your worth?

You won’t find it there. In fact, most times you will only succeed in discovering how worth[LESS] you are in the eyes of those you love. And not because they do not love you, but because they [WE] do not know how to love as the Father does.

But He will teach us if we listen. He will show us.

What did I find when seeking external validation? I found how invaluable + misunderstood I was—because my heart + my intentions can only ever truly be known by my Father. Because it is only He who can dwell in that secret place with us.

Looking within myself, the love for myself was even smaller than the love I receive from others.

But God’s love for us is something beyond comparison + beyond comprehension. It is surreal + supernatural in every sense of the word. We can rest in that, finding not only our worth, but our true identity as well. We can trust this as He has told us Himself of who we truly are.

1 Corinthians 6:17 But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

John 15:15 No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.

John 1:12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.

Romans 8:17 And if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.

Colossians 3:3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

Galatians 3:26 For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:20 But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:27 Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s masterpiece, created to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Ephesians 4:24 And to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Thank you Lord for Your amazing, saving grace.
