Our Redeemer is beautiful. He is glorious, wonderful, powerful, magnificent. He is beyond compare. He did not just die for me, but also for you. Our King rejoices all the more for the redemption found in His blood to the wayward son, the prodigal daughter. Our testimonies of His saving grace shine wholly brighter upon those of us who had been seeped in darkness, sin and shame!
For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. (1 Peter 1:18-20)
For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. (Leviticus 17:11)
A life sacrificed to Him brings glory not to ourselves, but to our loving Heavenly Father!
