No man.

Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him; I will surely defend my ways to his face. Indeed, this will turn out for my deliverance, for no godless man would dare come before him! (Job 13:15-16)

We know no man can thwart the plans of the Lord. We know this world will bring confusion, heartbreak, and all things that directly oppose who our God is. No man is stronger. No man is greater. No man—and so my hope lies solely in You, Lord, all the days of my life. I will praise You through tears. I will find joy in Your strength. Not my will, Lord. Your will. I have taken my feet from Your path many times. I have walked ahead of You and been disappointed too many times to count. I’ve gone in circles, instead of the path You have set before me. No more, Lord—because I trust You. Because You love me more than I can ever imagine and Your vision is so much clearer than my sight. You are mighty and strong. You are merciful and kind. Thank you, Lord, for forgiving my stumbles and catching my falls. Thank You for Your great love. Lead me, Father; I will surely follow.
